Notes:This a gradient mapped version of a picture I took of some migrating ducks. Interestingly enough my friends got to talking about why birds fly in these formations. The consensus is that they do it because it increases lift for the guy behind you. But just a day after this conversation this article was released which adds that in addition to this benefit, it also maximizes the birds field of view. Interesting.
And now for something completely different: I'm a long time fan of the movie 'A Clockwork Orange' and I must say this movie-a-minute summery is both the funniest and probably the most accurate summary I've seen. :)
